The Lust World: a new chapter

Although it has been less than a week since I posted the previous chapter of my erotic adventure story, The Lust World, the last chapter, which saw the action move to Lord Hoxton's stately home in Hampshire, has already attracted the most views of any of the previous chapters.  So, in order to keep the momentum going, I have now posted Chapter 21 here.

Several people have written to say that they did not enjoy the last chapters, one in particular because of the BDSM element.  However, as he rightly said, this was a popular theme in Victorian and Edwardian erotic literature and in art and photography too and so I wanted to include it.  The readers of Edmund Molloy's book in 1913 would certainly have expected such scenes. distasteful as they now may seem to some modern views.  I do think that the difference is, whether it is consesnsual (as in the story).  In period erotica it is rarely so and I read a piece (form The Pearl, I think) where the violence was really quite nasty and was not, as in much of the erotica of the time, about the person being beaten really enjoying it.

Also, several people who are following the story do like these scenes and have requested them.  Personally, having been brought up in, essentially, an all female household I was rather shocked to discover that there were women who enjoy light bondage and spanking.  One girlfriend, in particular, really did like being tied up and pushed around a bit which I found very difficult to do.  I am, however, someone who can separate fiction from reality.  I enjoy reading military fiction, by the likes of Bernard Cornwell, but I certainly have no desire to be in the army, fight and kill.  It doesn't mean that I don't enjoy reading battle scenes, however.

Likewise, in period erotica, there is a great deal made of women being taken against their will.  Often this is portrayed as women protesting against advances when they don't mean it (the implication often being that surrendering would mark them as a slut and therefore protesting, despite their desire, is seen as what nice girls would do).  In this literature, there are also some scenes of women being taken against their will and, of course, then finding that they enjoy it.  This is, if you will, the John Norman, Gor novels approach and even when I read my first Gor novel as a teenager I realised that this was unpleasant nonsense and that women weren't like this at all.  Nobody wants to be forced.  That said there is a large body of Gor themed fantasies (many by women) on the internet.

However, these are all stories.  They are not real life.  A crucial difference.  The whole point of fiction is that you can portray things that you would not undertake in real life.  The Lust World is a fantasy and is written to appeal to the fantasies of some of my particular friends, for whom it was originally written.  Sexual fantasies vary from person to person and it is something of a juggling act to fulfill the fantasies of different people.  My own fantasies are easy to spot, as they all feature ladies with lovely, firm bottoms!

On a lighter note, one of my readers has saved all my Chapter Notes, which detail some of my historical research (I don't always get it right - someone pointed out an error regarding Spitzbergen recently) but I do try to ensure period accuracy on key issues.  I will probably set up the Chapter Notes blog again.

The Lust World: First chapter of Part Two

Part Two of my erotic adventure story, The Lust World, opens with Chapter 20, another new episode.  The whole of Part Two takes place in Lord Hoxton's stately home in the Meon Valley, near West Meon in Hampshire, some sixty miles south west of London.  It is an area I know well and have done extensive cycling in the area.   Although West Meon and the station, featured in the last episode, are real, Hoxton Hall is, of course, fictional.  I have based many aspects of the physical appearance of Hoxton Hall on a real stately home in the Midlands. which was demolished in the nineteen thirties

Another chapter of The Lust World

Waterloo Station at the time of our story

I have posted another new episode of The Lust World, which brings Part One to a conclusion.  The action now moves from London to Lord Hoxton's country house in Hampshire.   Part Two does not, advance the plot, except peripherally but I wanted to include a stately home in the story and Sophie wanted lots of debauched sex scenes!

Daisy and Edmund leave London from Waterloo Station, which is the one Triple P arrives at when he goes to London, as he will be doing several times this week.

The Chronicles of Triple P: Teasing and Temptation.

I have just re-uploaded another episode of The Chronicles of Triple P here.   I have four more old ones to re-format before continuing on with new material.  The picture is the little alley off the High STreet where the Restaurant Sorbonne, which features in this chronicle, used to be.

A new episode for The Lust World

I have just posted another episode of my erotic adventure story, the Lust World, here.  About half of the chapter is how I had originally written it with a new second half suggested by my friend Sophie, from Canada who thought that Molloy had behaved rather badly towards Daisy. The preceding chapter (here) is also new and hadn't been included in my previous version of the blog.   It includes a scene set in a photographic studio, something that was one of the scenes I had wanted to include in the story from the beginning.  This was largely inspired by the very enjoyable 1990 novel Kingdom Swann by Miles Gibson about a (rather earlier) photographer of nudes in London.  It was subsequently made into an equally enjoyable TV film for the BBC, Gentlemen's Relish, starring Billy Connolly, in 2001.  Inexplicably, not available on Region 2 DVD, you can get it used on Region 1 from the US.  Not only does the film contain lots of interesting scenes in a photographers studio but also contains references to some classic Victorian artist's models, some tasteful naked ladies and an actress who displays period accurate underarm hair.  It is a splendid confection!

There is just one more chapter in Part One to complete and post and then I will move on to Part Two, set at Lord Hoxton's debauched birthday party in Hampshire which, again, panders to my wish to include an English country house and the sort of riotous goings on seen in Victorian and Edwardian erotic novels.  Many of the encounters in this have also been suggested by Sophie!

Originally, the Chronicles of Triple P was receiving about twice the number of views as The Lust  World but currently, The Lust World is somewhat ahead in views, possibly because of the new material.  More of both will follow in the next few weeks.

My blogs are back, on the whole.

So, Google deleted all my blogs for unspecified reasons relating to their terms and condition.  Having read them I was none the wiser and despite an appeal they would not explain the reason.  The only thing I can think of is copyright infringement (others are seeing pictures deleted for the same reason), although, as someone said, many of my posts, being in the nature of reviews may have come under the fair use exception.  Still, this time I will ensure that I only publish public domain pictures which means those that are produced by artists who died more than seventy years ago.  Sadly, this means no more magazine pictorials, no more Pubic Wars, no more pin-up pictures and no more sculpture as, with the latter, the works may be in the public domain but the photographs of them are not.  In referring to some of these I will include links to avoid this problem.

As in the case, just over two years ago, when Google threatened to tighten up what it called its 'porn' policy (in which they seem to include all nudes or erotic material, whatever its artistic merit) I was very grateful for the support from my readers, especially those who appealed to Google off their own bat.  I am also very grateful to the lovely Scarlett Knight (not so sure about the blue hair, it makes you look like a cast member of Space: 1999) for publicising my new blogs, set up using my friend Angela's dormant account.  Most of my initial traffic has been via Scarlett's links.

Links to all my new blogs are in the right sidebar as well as here and I will use this blog as my main one, highlighting new posts.

My recollections of my interaction with ladies since the early nineteen seventies have attracted many kind comments but I thought I had lost them as I wrote them direct onto Blogger not in Word first.  Fortunately one of my readers, SB, had saved them.  I am currently re-posting them although this process takes some time as I have to reformat them from the pdf versions line by line.  I am picking up on some of my very many typos and spelling mistakes too, I hope!  Getting up to date will take another weeks or so and then I can continue with new chronicles.

My erotic adventure story, set before the Great War has now all been re-posted, as I had the originals in Word.  I have even posted two brand new chapters this week and there will be several more to come, to finish part one of the story, in the next month.  Part two will take us on a long diversion down to Lord Hoxton's debauched birthday weekend celebrations at his Hampshire home.

I have found several sources for my old posts on this blog but can only do art or early photography ones.  All the pictures have to be found on my system (not always as easy as it should be) so these can take some time too.  There will be some new posts in due course.  I know that most people preferred my Pubic Wars and magazine posts but I actually enjoyed the art ones most, In the future, I am going to experiment with a post by email, perhaps, for magazine pictorials, although the pictures will have to be smaller. I may have to use DropBox.   I am writing to those people who wanted to subscribe to Venus Observations, two and a half years ago to, see if they might be interested in this.

I have started to put up some old posts on this too and will be adding more in the future, including more new ones.

Venus in Motion and Cavegirls in Fur Bikinis

Sadly, there is now way to continue with these due to copyright issues.

Finally, I was amused to see that a post in Venus Observations was listed as a source in an academic book on The Neo-Victorian Villain!  Some of my real work is quoted in academic papers but this is a first for one of my blogs, I think!
