My blogs are back, on the whole.

So, Google deleted all my blogs for unspecified reasons relating to their terms and condition.  Having read them I was none the wiser and despite an appeal they would not explain the reason.  The only thing I can think of is copyright infringement (others are seeing pictures deleted for the same reason), although, as someone said, many of my posts, being in the nature of reviews may have come under the fair use exception.  Still, this time I will ensure that I only publish public domain pictures which means those that are produced by artists who died more than seventy years ago.  Sadly, this means no more magazine pictorials, no more Pubic Wars, no more pin-up pictures and no more sculpture as, with the latter, the works may be in the public domain but the photographs of them are not.  In referring to some of these I will include links to avoid this problem.

As in the case, just over two years ago, when Google threatened to tighten up what it called its 'porn' policy (in which they seem to include all nudes or erotic material, whatever its artistic merit) I was very grateful for the support from my readers, especially those who appealed to Google off their own bat.  I am also very grateful to the lovely Scarlett Knight (not so sure about the blue hair, it makes you look like a cast member of Space: 1999) for publicising my new blogs, set up using my friend Angela's dormant account.  Most of my initial traffic has been via Scarlett's links.

Links to all my new blogs are in the right sidebar as well as here and I will use this blog as my main one, highlighting new posts.

My recollections of my interaction with ladies since the early nineteen seventies have attracted many kind comments but I thought I had lost them as I wrote them direct onto Blogger not in Word first.  Fortunately one of my readers, SB, had saved them.  I am currently re-posting them although this process takes some time as I have to reformat them from the pdf versions line by line.  I am picking up on some of my very many typos and spelling mistakes too, I hope!  Getting up to date will take another weeks or so and then I can continue with new chronicles.

My erotic adventure story, set before the Great War has now all been re-posted, as I had the originals in Word.  I have even posted two brand new chapters this week and there will be several more to come, to finish part one of the story, in the next month.  Part two will take us on a long diversion down to Lord Hoxton's debauched birthday weekend celebrations at his Hampshire home.

I have found several sources for my old posts on this blog but can only do art or early photography ones.  All the pictures have to be found on my system (not always as easy as it should be) so these can take some time too.  There will be some new posts in due course.  I know that most people preferred my Pubic Wars and magazine posts but I actually enjoyed the art ones most, In the future, I am going to experiment with a post by email, perhaps, for magazine pictorials, although the pictures will have to be smaller. I may have to use DropBox.   I am writing to those people who wanted to subscribe to Venus Observations, two and a half years ago to, see if they might be interested in this.

I have started to put up some old posts on this too and will be adding more in the future, including more new ones.

Venus in Motion and Cavegirls in Fur Bikinis

Sadly, there is now way to continue with these due to copyright issues.

Finally, I was amused to see that a post in Venus Observations was listed as a source in an academic book on The Neo-Victorian Villain!  Some of my real work is quoted in academic papers but this is a first for one of my blogs, I think!

    1. So glad that some of my regular readers have found me again. I am still pondering how to deal with possible magazine pictorials etc. I need to try an experiment!

    1. Hi, after some web delving I have found an archive of Venus Observations. It's here: http://archive.is/search/?q=venus+observations+venus+revealed+pubic+wars
You can download all the content, pics and text and it all looks good.
Within the admittedly narrow field of erotic entertainment/art these essays are an important contribution of work and deserve greater recognition covering as they do, a critical time in the history of our culture. I am not surprised they have been cited in academic works.
Many thanks again to Agent Triple P for the dedication, care and passion you devoted to these beautifully written paeans to, in reality, the wonderful women who presented themselves so willingly for our sexual delight and pleasure. Personally, I have kept several pictorials of favourite ladies who, even after all these years, never fail to excite me. Like a lot of your subscribers, I grew up in the seventies when Penthouse and like magazines were virtually my only source of realistic sex education. More than that, and perhaps it sounds contra-intuitive, the pictorials made me appreciate women as complete beings, not just so-called sex objects. I think this is because models were presented erotically and not simply pornographically as the internet does today. There was a magic and sensuousness to them which compelled the viewer to appreciate the girls' beauty and personality (even if invented) along with their bodies and sexual allure. It's true that context is everything and the photographers’ abilities to adorn models with lovely clothes and place them in decorous or unusual settings only increased their excitement and erotic appeal. It also helped that photographers' creativity and inventiveness, along with the desire for greater explicitness was driven by the highly competitive market in which the magazines operated. As models were able to reveal more so my understanding and appreciation of women's bodies grew as well. We will not see this type of photography again; it is time locked into the late 20th century sexual revolution which, when combined with a natural wistful longing for youth, propels its nostalgia value. These women meant something to us, they were crucial to our youth and sexual schooling and that's why we remember them and want to remember them.
Thanks again for your endeavours. It has been a true labour (or should that be labia) of love.
      Stephen Holland.
PS. One feature I’d like to see is subscribers’ poll of their favourite models. It would be fascinating to see how our selections compared with others. It would be easy to do, after all, every girl your ever wanted is here for your delectation.

    2. Thanks for this and thanks for the link which is brilliant. I will spend some time over Christmas downloading the posts.

I have still not given up on the idea of resurrecting my magazine posts, including the pubic wars and, again, will have a test over Christmas.

  4. The sudden disappearance of your work and site was disconcerting and it is unfortunate Google unilaterally deleted your commentary, musings and knowledgeable insights with little notice or consideration of the countless hours of work and research the sites represented. Shame on you Google! It is a welcome relief to find your effort resurrected to a more constrained degree, as you have provided insights and enlightenment to many through your efforts. Like others, I wish I had preserved more of you postings than just a few. May your work be viewed as both intellectual, academic and preservative for humanity forever. The digital age is an evil culprit to the sustainability of creative expression where not profit is involved.

  5. Glad to see you back, even if in a curtailed form.
If Google are no longer welcoming, have you thought of a different blog platform?

  6. Re. Lust World BDSM, as you say very popular in Victorian literature. The Pearl and many others. My disappointment had to do with Edmund's reaction once he was let loose. Possible putting Daisy and Edith over his knee or at least walking out. Hopefully he'll get a little revenge at the party. lol I think his punishment did not fit his crime since Daisy had enjoyed the modeling session so much.

    1. Edmund is still lacking in some assertiveness he will definitely get his revenge, as he sees it!
